Sheep Training Program Details
Most of our Sheep Training Programs take place in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. Through a Australian Sheep Training Program, you will gain hands on experience with pasture fed animals that are kept outside year round. As a Sheep Training Program participant, you will gain hands on experience in lambing, care and feeding of livestock, docking (tailing), and more! As part of the Sheep Training Program, hay and silage making are generally included. The animals are kept outside and pasture fed all year round, with supplements such as hay & silage. Lambing takes place from July to October depending on location in Australia, and calving may be in either spring or autumn.
